Executive Summary
DVC is the Managing Partner and Head of Quality Assurance. He has 20 years of solid professional experience with “Big 4 Firms” in providing audit, tax, advisory and outsourcing services to multinational and local clients in various industries. From 2018 to 2020, DVC served as Partner and Risk Head of the former BDO (Binder Dijker Otte) in the Philippines. He also served as a member of the Philippine Interpretations Committee (PIC) that assists in the implementation of PFRS/IFRS. David was also member of the Accounting Standards Group of SGV & Co., which is the local subject matter resource for audit methodology and PFRS/IFRS.
DVC handled financial audits in accordance with IAS and US GAAS, including standards issued by the PCAOB. He had been involved in business valuations and preparations of financial models of local and multinational companies in the water utility, power, telecommunication, restaurant operation, food manufacturing, mining, and auto dealership and distributorship industries. David likewise assisted various local companies in preparing rehabilitation plans.
DVC also handled various tax assessments, cases, compliances and registrations for clients under various tax regimes, including those registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and the Board of Investments (BOI).
DVC has a Group A accreditation with the Philippine SEC. He graduated from San Beda University in 2003, earning a degree of bachelor of science in accountancy. He is a CPA and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
