He started the first eight years of his career with PwC Philippines and KPMG Philippines, where he handled tax advisory and compliance services for various multinational and local clients in various industries. BLI specializes in cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, customs audits, tax ruling applications, tax audits, tax structuring studies, transfer pricing studies and tax refunds.
BLI served as a legal consultant for Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, ARC Group of Companies, the Provincial Government of Bataan and the Municipal Government of Limay, Bataan. He was a former partner of the the Pomer, Santos-Layug, Ines and Rivero Law Offices, a Law Firm that handles litigation, corporate, tax and labor cases. BLI graduated from San Beda University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy in 2003 and with a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2009. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Tax Management Association of the Philippines.
